Stix & Stones Baby launched into business in 2005. We are an Australian owned and operated retailer and producer of refreshingly different and personalised goodies and keepsakes for little people. The team is based in a (relatively!) child friendly office in sunny Cairns, Queensland.

We produce and design many of our products including The Petite Post®, Babyography® and Twinography®. In addition, we have sourced gorgeous unique gifts all designed to pamper, snuggle, entice and entertain Mums and bubs. Everything has been hand-picked, researched and tested, and are not mass-produced products. Wherever possible, we've chosen Australian made products from up and coming small businesses. Most importantly our customers receive products that are top quality, wonderfully uncommon and timeless.

About our ‘Operations’:

• dining room = production room/packaging room
• large desk = office/world headquarters
• spare bedroom = warehouse
• front porch = shipping/receiving
• computer with internet = storefront
• Mum working at home to be with the kids (a.k.a. disgruntled 'employees') = president/CEO/owner

Old Fashioned Service:

We offer good old-fashioned customer service with, of course, the aid of technology. We'll always return your emails and phone calls and we love to talk to you in person!

We are able to keep our products at affordable prices, as we do not require a retail shopfront; do not have big advertising budgets; or drive flashy cars (!) and instead rely on word of mouth.

And introducing our team:

	Tracey with Jackson and Jessica...Hi! I'm the owner of S&S Baby, more often referred to as the 'computer geek' behind the site, creating all of our paper-based products such as The Petite Post®, Babyography® and our birth announcements. I am proud of our diverse range of products; the majority coming from other wonderful Australian small business operators (many of whom are work-at-home mums). I've had the opportunity to chat to many of our customers, from all our loyal rural shoppers, to our metro mums, and of course our tech-saavy grandmas - thank you for your continued support.
	Kylie with Ethan and Sydney... Kylie is our talented artist who creates all of our hand-painted artwork, name plaques and coordinated wall motifs, artwork hangers, bookends, scripted name plaques...and the list goes on... as she normally has a new idea for us every week! Kylie recently returned to Australia, after living in Canada for 12 years and we are pleased to have her as part of our team creating her fabulously fun and colourful artwork for kids. We have forged a terrific relationship with Kylie as an integral part of our business, and since 2009 Stix and Stones Baby is proud to now be Kylie's exclusive wholesale distributor, marketing arm and packer (!) for her collection of products "A Brush of Imagination". As most of her items are custom made we are always happy to work together to create the perfect masterpieces or coordinated sets for your child's room.
	Rebecca with McKinlay, Annaliese and Sienna ... Bec is our super-woman on the sewing machine. Most of our clothing range have been designed and lovingly produced by Bec under her label 'Uniquely Bec'. Known to her family and all of us here at S&S Baby as the 'appliqué perfectionist' Bec creates gorgeous clothing guaranteed to have the 'wow factor'. She searches high and low to find the perfect quality material to coordinate with ribbon, ric rac and buttons for all of her custom made funky kids clothing. Our customers tell us that their children dig her clothes out of the dirty clothes basket to wear them again and again!
